I'm wondering if anyone gets the visual pun in my logo. Moreover, I'm wondering if anyone still reads this blog, or if it's all accidental Google traffic by now.
(On a positive note, trackback spammers still seem to value this blog highly.)

I admit, I am an old fart in the world of marketing, PR and advertising, as well as business consulting (about 35 years worth). I don't get the pun and hold fervently to the belief that if you have to ask if I get it, the logo probably isn't a good one. Logos should, I believe, stand for something and communicate a message. If it does not communicate effectively, what good is it?

Rick Your logo is crap if you wanted an honest answer from a creative & art director experienced guy.
But you ask about it so you got my answer.
As said Lew you might receive then some similar comments unfortunately.
YOUR logo Should be about identity, do you remember a bit of what is a brand? Executive Summary, its values, Rick Bruner and and background culture? Therefore please work on the creative brief you might find out that you still have to work on your logo then. Take care.

Your's is an excellent logo. It clearly shows E and the X. The visual pun? it says "NO MARLBORO".
