Rick--
Great thoughts on NPR. Seems like they are willing to cut their nose off
to spite their face when it comes to money and protecting their image.
They'd like to run 10 day fund drives that drives down listnership while
avoiding new opportunities to create revenue and listeners.
The idea I've had floating in my head is to offer premium web content for
contributors. Maybe the "members" could have access to the MP3s you
propose. Or delay access for a day for non-members. Or daily emails at
4pm for members, telling them what is going to be on ATC that afternoon.
The list of possibilities go on.
Blog on.
