This from Bill McCloskey, posted to a discussion list we belong to (reprinted with permission):
I got some free tickets to a magic show last night and I decided to take my nine year old daughter on her first late night date with dad (sans her brother). At about 8pm we are walking up Broadway around 72nd street. My daughter has an anxious look on her face (she s a suburban kid):
What s wrong, Emily I asked.
Oh, I m just a little scared.
What are you scared of?
I m scared of robbers. Robbers might come up and try and steal from us.
Ah, huh. Daddy will protect you.
I m scared of homeless people. They scare me.
Anything else?
Yeah, I m scared of advertising people.

Hi
I am so happy you find out all of this.
I find out about it more than 2 months ago, Participating painfully, to several of his fake "blogworking" "communities". This guy got a bunch of fake PR bloggers in all main stream categories recruted to "PR"anything from Wine to Air Travel, in Advertising community, to rock music, etc ...
He even got relation in Washington Post, helped by Darren Herman, partner as well with Mary Crosse (Jampacks), managing several companies from E Media Wire, with PRWEB.com, InGameAdvertising to ensure somehow few benefic articles dragging some traffic on his business.
I have to admit the interaction website is quite good on AlwaysOn. It can be definitively improved but what a shame and waste to be managed in such durty way.
I do not know your community power today. But this Jesse extensions looks very impressive. Are they? the AlwaysOn biz sounds working pretty well isn't it? for how long? actually Marqui is quite well involved in this community its Ceo got personnal links with Jesse Tayler as well.
I think if today blogs communities has to worried is more about such counter medias which are gone pourrish even more the web democracy.
I just find out today that you have to spend more time and energy and finally find out that at least 50% of what you can find on the web is totally fake, corporate companies included, building their reputation on PR friends placing articles even in some reputable professional newpapers, magazine, and others media.
WHO ARE & WHERE ARE THE JOURNALISTS?
WHAT THIS PROFESSION MEANS TODAY?
This is more than just a real question, IT'S A DRAMA.
When I mention those last words it is because the readers'trust is all what PR needs in media today more than ever, and it is actually disappearing if it's not already done. Therefore why to make PR in media then?
hope to hear more about the clues then.
