Andy Bourland Recovering From Quadruple Bypass Heart Surgery
Andy has been a good friend of mine in the industry for many years. In fact, back in 1998, we were partners in ExecutiveSummary.com for about two months, before we both decided it was best for me to go it alone. Andy Bourland, founder of ClickZ (no longer affiliated), is recouperating at home after heart surgery. He wrote me:
I'm laying low these days... suffered 2-3 massive heart attacks on 10/28. Had a
quadruple bypass. Just got out of the hospital this past Friday. It was really
touch and go for a while, but my heart has healed quite well, and I'm expected
to be able to resume a normal and active life after the beginning of the year.
For now, I'm able to walk a few times a day, and am being cared for at my home
around the clock. Really sucks for a guy who is used to living an active and
independent life.

I'm fine with your letting others know. I am not keeping it a secret, and could
use all the prayers, positive vibes and support I can get!
